The Ellis Family: Beach Baby

My goal this week was going to be to go to a beach each day. However, the weather had other plans. It has been raining and yucky for the last two days. But Sunday, it was beautiful! So, on Sunday, thinking I was working on my goal, we headed to Araha Beach. We didn't bring our bathing suits since we weren't planning on going swimming because we thought the water would still be a little chilly. We were just going to relax and walk around and even out my tan lines (yes, I know they are bad). But once we got there we tipped our toes in and found it wasn't chilly at all. And we tipped Miss Olivia's toes in and found out we have a little fish on our hands. See for yourself!

Walking in the sand. She didn't understand why her feet kept sinking. It took her a little bit to get used to the wet sand.

She was wearing a cute little sundress she got for her birthday. Testing the waters...

She likes it! Watching all the people swim. See how blue the sky was? It really was perfect weather.

If he let go of her, she would have just ran right in. She really wanted to get in there with all the other people!

Later, playing in the sand. I think she likes that too.

Oh no! Where did Baby's feet go? Daddy buried them!

Being silly with her feet buried. We asked her "Where's your toes?" And she started doing "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" instead...

"Shoulders" again...

"But Mom, I want to go back in the water!"

Cheese! Sun went in, rain clouds started rolling in, and we went home. All in all it was a great day! Daddy cannot wait for us to go back with our suits and a float!
