Lunch with a View

On Friday, Olivia and I had plans to go out with our friends Tesha and Taylor. We met them at Alligator Steps and Taylor is a few weeks older than Olivia. They get along great and Tesha and I hit it off as well! Anyway, we were going to go to this nice park we've heard about, but the weather wasn't looking very nice so we decided to go out just for lunch instead. Tesha told me she knew of a place that was a little bit of a drive away, but the food was great and the view was even greater. I'm all for exploring the island and trying new restaurants, so off we went! Went to Cafe Curcuma, an Asian Herb Restaurant. Their speciality is the fresh organic herbs such as mint, coriander, lemongrass, basil, and sage that are grown in the herb plantation in Curcuma's garden. They pick the herbs daily and use them in every dish they serve. I had the Pad Thai, served with soup and iced lemongrass tea. I also ordered nan bread and a small salad. It was the BEST food I've had yet! It was so fresh and refreshing. I loved tasting all the different herbs. It will definitely be a spot we bring those who visit us! After lunch, the weather held out for a little bit and we walked around their little garden area and took in some of the view. Take a look...
This is the Cafe, it sits right on a cliff/cape:
