Olivia loves walking around like a big girl. Here shes holding Daddy's hand, walking up to the commissary:
Aren't they so cute walking in step with each other?
It's a miracle. We were actually EARLY for our dinner reservation! So, we had to hang around until the rest of the party came. The bartender was sweet enough to fix Olivia a nice drink, non-alcoholic of course. A strawberry-lemonade slushy....YUM. But, I think she thought it was a little sour. She kept trying it, but made this face after each sip:
So, you know the commercial with "The Buttertons?" It's our favorite commercial, and this reminded us of The Buttertons...Giant statue of butter...
We had dinner at Jack's Place. A restaurant on base similar to Mori. They cook your food right in front of you. Jack's was one of the first places we ate when we came here. We haven't been in a while, so the last time Olivia was there, she was little in her infant seat still. This time she got to sit at the table in the high-chair, and she really enjoyed the show. Wasn't too sure about the fire though:
She kept cheering and clapping after every trick the chef did. He liked her so much he snuck her her own piece of garlic bread. She was just in awe over everything he did:
After a yummy dinner, we had birthday cake. And Bridget was serenaded by saxophone. Actually, the guy playing the sax is Mr. Frank, Mike's piano teacher. Apparently, he plays all kinds of instruments. And, since he knew Mike, after he played "Happy Birthday" for Bridget, he came over and played for Olivia too. He played "Ten Little Indians," "Itsy Bitsy Spider," and "New York, New York," (because we told him we were going home soon).
