"The more light you allow within you, the brighter the world you live in will be." - Shakti Gawain
June 21 or 22 is the day the sun reaches its highest point in the sky, making it the longest day of the year. I'm guessing this is still true on the other side of the world.
I can't take credit for finding the quote. It came from an inspiration I found in a book I read daily called Good Morning: 365 Positive Ways to Start Your Day, by Brook Noel. The June 21st affirmation was this: "Today, I renew my commitment to refuel and reenergize so that I may have more light within to cast unto the world around me."
Easy to say when you see the world like this:
So what better way to let more light in than watching the sunset on the longest day of the year, which this year happened to be on Father's Day, with the family you have made:

For Father's Day we went to a brunch at the NCO club with the Adams'. Then spent the rest of the day relaxing until we went down to the sea wall and walked around a bit. We took Jill and she met some new friends. You can see some dogs in the background here:
And this guy just got done swimming with his daddy...he wasn't too please to meet Jill though...
Here we are again, testing out the tripod Craig let me borrow:
